Reiki is a simple, pleasant and above all very regenerating method that helps to maintain balance in our physical and mental health. It is not connected to any religion, sect or spiritual movement. 

Its practice does not require any particular preliminary qualification except to want to help oneself or to help people to find a complete well-being. It does not conflict with other forms of therapy, but supports them. All those whose profession consists in touching, manipulating and caring for the body and the mind would find a definite advantage in integrating this technique into all of their treatment methods.

Level I

This Reiki training is done in 4 sessions of 3 hours each. The student learns the history and how to use Reiki in his own life and how to put it at the service of others. The energy initiation is transmitted to the student in four rituals by the Reiki master. The only conditions to learn the technique of Dr. Usui are:

• ☼ the sincere desire to serve as a channel for this "Universal Vital Energy"

• ☼ willingness to use Reiki in one's own life

Level II

This teaching is given in 2 sessions of 3 hours. It is intended for students who wish to go further and deepen their commitment to Reiki. The student learns, according to the Usui tradition, to transmit the energy which acts on the mental and emotional health as well as the transmission of energy at a distance.

A natural way to take care of yourself or others. Reiki is a very ancient and sacred method using only unconditional love and "universal life energy". It suffices to lay hands on oneself or on others, for the Reiki energy to be channeled and transmitted. This energy creates harmony and restores the perfect well-being of body and mind, which is our natural state. It promotes spiritual awakening.

To define Reiki Takata said: "I believe there is a Supreme Being, the Absolute Infinite - a Dynamic force that governs the world and the Universe. It is an invisible spiritual power that vibrates and all other forms of powers become mundane in his presence. So is he Absolute."

This power is impenetrable, it is impossible to measure it and because it is a universal life force, it is incomprehensible to man. However, every living being, whether awake or asleep, benefits at all times from its benefits.

Some teachers and masters call it The Great Spirit, the Universal Life Force, the Vital Energy because it revitalizes the whole organism. Some call it Celestial Wave because it calms the pain and puts us to sleep as if we were under anesthesia. Others call it Cosmic Wave because it emits vibrations that make us happy and lift us towards harmony.

Takata said: I call it Reiki because I studied the Usui System under that name. Reiki is a wave comparable to radio waves. It can be applied locally or remotely as a short wave. Reiki is a non-measurable wave like maybe electricity or ''X'' rays. It can penetrate layers of cotton, porcelain, lead, wood, or steel because it comes from the Great Spirit, from the Infinite.

It cannot destroy delicate tissues or nerves. It is absolutely safe, it is a convenient and safe method. Everything that lives can benefit from it since it is a Universal Wave. Plants as well as birds and all animals as well as human beings of all ages and conditions. "
